Privacy Policy

WRTA maintains safeguards to protect against loss, unauthorized access, misuse, modification, and improper disclosure of member data. Although no system can be fully protected against every possible hazard, WRTA provides reasonable and appropriate security controls to protect information against foreseeable hazards.

WRTA only maintains information that is relevant to WRTA activities. Member databases contain mailing, billing and other relevant member contact and profile information, as well as registrations for conferences and other WRTA activities. The information in these databases is maintained by and accessible to authorized WRTA staff members. Personally identifiable information contained in WRTA databases is treated as confidential and will be used for the purposes stated in this policy, except where required by law.

WRTA does not sell member data. Some partnership agreements may include the exchange of some member data. Data about WRTA members may be shared with others hired by WRTA to assist in carrying out financial or operational activities. WRTA requires outside contractors to use data only for an authorized purpose. WRTA may be required to disclose personal information in response to a court order, to protect WRTA's legal rights or if safety is believed to be at risk.

The WRTA website may contain links to other websites. WRTA is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

A valuable benefit of WRTA membership is the ability to promote your organization and its services to potential buyers through the supplier/wholesaler and vacation “quick search” online tools. Through these tools, anyone who visits the WRTA website may access general information about WRTA members.

WRTA may keep website access logs that contain IP address and search queries. We may analyze log files periodically to help maintain and improve our website.

On some pages of our site we allow individuals to submit information for the purposes of joining WRTA, renewing or updating membership, or registering for a conference or other activity. Information collected on these pages will be used according to WRTA's Privacy Policy.

Expo and conference exhibitors may be provided with mailing addresses and contact information of conference registrants before, during, and/or after WRTA events. This list contains mailing information to allow exhibitors to mail materials publicizing their booths and the products, services and other offers that will take place at their booths, both before and after the conference.

Many exhibitors collect business cards or scan attendee badges at their booths during conferences. If you offer your business card or conference badge to an exhibitor at a booth, WRTA views this as voluntarily providing information to the vendor. This is how many vendors build their marketing lists. If you receive materials following a conference via email or receive a phone call, please be assured this information did not come from WRTA, but possibly did come from the information you provided to an exhibitor during the conference(s).

WRTA may allow vendors in certain sponsorship categories to do a limited number of mailings or broadcast emails to our members to inform you of their products and services. These are distributed through a bonded third-party or by WRTA headquarters. The partner is not provided with your data.

If you have any questions or comments on the above policy, please direct them to headquarters@WRTAreligioustravel.com.
